Dinosaurs!

Yesterday I went to the Museum of Natural History, and spent a serious portion of my day playing in the land of taxidermy animals (which if you stop to think about it is rather creepy). I've never been to the NY one, and it was AWESOME, I spent forever in the room of biodiversity where they have thousands of different species of animals diagrammed. Then spent the remainder of the day drawing silly animals in my sketchbook and playing with the seriously awesome dinosaur stickers I got in the giftshop.

Gigantic Sewn + Stuffed Swedish Fish

AHH! I'm so excited. I finished sewing and stuffing these awesome little Swedish fish. They are plush double sided, illustrated and sewn Swedish fish pillows, though you can put them anywhere to have a good laugh. I am thrilled with how they turned out, and can't wait to make more. They are posted on my etsy shop, and if you're interested in a larger quantity please send me an email, I can make custom orders from a few fish to a whole school! Check out more pics below. Happy Sunday.

Citrus + Spice

Finished a new BIG illustration! I've been stuck in a rut working only on smaller papers, but I started this week working in a bigger scale and I love it! There's so much more room for detail. Definitely more to come. What do you think?

New Sugar is a most excellent publication out of the UK. It's published digitally (hello eco-friendly) and features a host of illustrators, designers and artists. I'm in Issue 5 which was just released, alongside other super talented illustrators Gemma Correll and Aine Cassidy and many others. Be sure to check it out, it's chock full of inspiring stories, and breathtaking work.
